PHOTOFIXITPRO COPYRIGHT COMPLIANCE POLICY

It is the policy of the PhotoFixitPro.com not to infringe knowingly upon the intellectual property rights – including copyrights – of others. Works of authorship, such as photographs, paintings, books, articles, drawings, computer software and other such materials, may be covered by copyright laws.

It is a violation of those laws and of PhotoFixitPro.com policy to make unauthorized copies of or derivative works based upon copyrighted materials. The absence of a copyright notice does not necessarily mean that the materials are not copyrighted. When an image is copyrighted or imprinted with a Photographer or Studio Name, it cannot be manipulated or duplicated in any fashion, nor reprinted without the acknowledgement that the client has written permission from the copyright holder. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Because PhotoFixitPro.com restores, retouches, and otherwise manipulates photographs we must be particularly careful to inform our customers (clients) that we cannot use photographs that are protected by copyright without first obtaining permission.

In many instances, the lack of copyright protection may be obvious, such as, for example, with family snapshot photos. If there is any doubt as to whether a photograph is protected by copyright, inquiry should be made of the customer [client]. If a customer [client] indicates that a particular photograph or other work is protected by copyright, permission to use the photograph must be obtained from the photographer before the photograph may be used.

It is the policy of PhotoFixitPro.com to ask the client to confirm they are the owner of the copyrights to the photos, images, text or graphics that they post or transmit to us, or that they have the permission of the copyright owner to post or transmit the photos, images, text or graphics for the purposes of image manipulation as a service.

Making unauthorized copies or derivative works of copyrighted materials may subject both you and the Company to substantial civil and criminal penalties. If you have any questions about this Policy or are in doubt about the best course of action in a particular situation, you should consult PhotoFixitPro.com management.

If you suspect a violation of copyright law or of the Company's Copyright Compliance Policy, you must notify your PhotoFixitPro management immediately. No one will be subject to retaliation because of a good faith report of a suspected copyright violation or a good faith report of any other type of suspected misconduct.
